Randall Bambrough, CFO
Randall I. Bambrough has served as chief financial officer since May 2008. From March 2001 to January 2007, Mr. Bambrough was chief financial officer at InterVideo, Inc., a DVD software provider. InterVideo was acquired by Corel Corporation in December 2006. From December 2000 to March 2001, Mr. Bambrough was vice president of finance at Optibase Ltd., a provider of digital media transmission devices. Mr. Bambrough earned a B.S. in business management from Brigham Young University, another B.S. in accounting from Weber State University, an M.B.A. from Utah State University, and an Executive Doctor of Management from Case Western Reserve University.
David Cutrer, Ph.D, CTO and Co-founder
David M. Cutrer has served as chief technology officer and member of the board of directors since co-founding NextG in April 2001. Before co-founding NextG, Dr. Cutrer co-founded LGC Wireless, a provider of in-building wireless coverage systems, which was subsequently acquired by ADC Telecommunications. From June 1996 to February 2001, Dr. Cutrer served LGC in several senior-level executive roles, including chief technology officer and vice president of engineering. Dr. Cutrer is a recognized expert on microcellular communications systems and holds multiple patents in the field. Dr. Cutrer received his Ph.D. and his M.S. in electrical engineering from the University of California at Berkeley, and he received his B.S. in electrical engineering and applied physics from the California Institute of Technology.
Robert L. Delsman, Esq, VP Government Relations and Regulatory Affairs
Robert L. Delsman has served as vice president of government relations and regulatory affairs since December 2003. He joined NextG as a senior director in February 2002. From June 1996 to February 2001, Mr. Delsman was senior director of government relations and network real estate for Metricom, Inc. Before that, Mr. Delsman practiced real estate law at Lillick & Charles from 1989 to 1995 and at Crosby, Heafey, Roach & May from 1995 to 1996. Mr. Delsman received his B.A. in classics and philosophy from Gonzaga University, his M.A. Oxon. in Literae Humaniores from Oxford University, and his J.D. from Hastings College of the Law (University of California).
Lawrence Doherty, Senior VP, Corporate Development
Lawrence R. Doherty has served as senior vice president of corporate development since February 2008. From February 2006 to February 2008, Mr. Doherty served as vice president of corporate development. Before joining us, Mr. Doherty served as director of national property and director of national site development for Sprint PCS from November 1999 to October 2005.
Kurt Gastrock, Senior VP, Sales & Business Development Eastern Region
Kurt Gastrock has been our Senior VP, Sales & Business Development Eastern Region since May 2008. Mr. Gastrock brings to NextG more than 20 years of experience managing telecom and technology companies, most recently serving as Chief Operating Officer at Convera Corporation, a publicly-traded technology firm. He formerly served as VP and GM of the Wireless Sites organization at Sprint Nextel, where he managed all wireless site development activity nationwide and led the company’s $200 million per year cell tower lease-up business. Mr. Gastrock has also held VP roles at Sprint Hosting Solutions, Sprint E|Solutions, and USinternetworking. Mr. Gastrock earned a B.S. degree in mechanical engineering from Lehigh University and an M.B.A. from Georgetown University. He also completed senior executive course work at the Harvard Business School, the Wharton School of Business, the Kellogg School of Management, and The University of Michigan.

John B. Georges has served as president, chief executive officer, and chairman since co-founding NextG in April 2001. Before co-founding NextG, Dr. Georges co-founded LGC Wireless, a provider of in-building wireless coverage systems, which was subsequently acquired by ADC Telecommunications. From June 1996 to February 2001, Dr. Georges served LGC in senior-level executive positions in business development, sales, and engineering. Dr. Georges received his Ph.D. in electrical engineering from the University of California at Berkeley.
Bo Piekarski, VP, Product Management and Marketing
Bo Piekarski serves as vice president of product management and marketing for NextG Networks. He is a 25-year veteran of the wireless industry having worked in RF, microwave, PCS, GSM, GPRS, EDGE, W-CDMA, WiMAX and Software Defined Radio (SDR) since 1983. Mr. Piekarski brings significant experience to NextG from companies across the WWAN value chain—including Ericsson, Omnipoint, Voicestream/T-Mobile, Xircom, and Intel. Throughout his career in advanced wireless technologies, Mr. Piekarski has managed projects and business units across technical, business, and marketing functions. Prior to serving as VP of business development for TelAsic, an IC spinout from Raytheon, he was general manager of Intel's wireless WAN operation, VP of strategic business for Omnipoint, and held a variety of executive business development and marketing positions at Ericsson's wireless communications division including VP of business development, VP of the GSM business unit, and VP of the PCS unit. Mr. Piekarski holds B.S. and M.S. degrees from The University of Michigan.
Todd Schultz, Senior VP, Operations
Todd K. Schultz has served as senior vice president of operations since February 2008. From October 2006 to February 2008, Mr. Schultz served as vice president of operations. From 2001 to October 2006, Mr. Schultz provided professional consulting services to NextG and to various other technology-based clients. From 1998 to 2001, Mr. Schultz held senior level positions with Navisite, a data center and hosting infrastructure company. Mr. Schultz received his B.S. in mechanical engineering from California State University at Chico.
Hab Siam, General Counsel
Hab Siam has served as general counsel and corporate secretary since March 2007. Before joining NextG, Mr. Siam served as NextG’s primary outside corporate lawyer from April 2001 to March 2007. From July 2003 to March 2007, Mr. Siam operated his own private legal practice. From February 2000 to July 2003, Mr. Siam was a corporate attorney with Wilson Sonsini Goodrich & Rosati. From June 1996 to January 2000, Mr. Siam was a litigation and corporate attorney with Kirkland & Ellis. Mr. Siam is a member of the California State Bar and the Illinois State Bar, and he received an A.B. in economics and political science from the University of Illinois at Champaign/Urbana and a J.D. from Indiana University at Bloomington.
Scott Chou, Gabriel Venture Partners
Scott Chou serves on the board of directors at NextG Networks. Mr. Chou is a general partner at Gabriel Venture Partners. His passion for early stage technology ventures extends back to high school when he joined his first startup as a software engineer. He has since worked for five more technology ventures including Poqet Computer and ICE in addition to world-renowned research and development organizations such as Bellcore and IBM. Mr. Chou entered the venture capital arena via the Kauffman Fellows Program, a prestigious fellowship in venture capital awarded annually to a select number of recipients. Mr. Chou completed his fellowship at Onset Ventures, a ground-breaking firm in seed capital investing. He later joined Gabriel Venture Partners where he currently focuses on the Internet and communications infrastructure. Mr. Chou received a B.S. degree in electrical engineering with honors from Caltech as well as a M.S. in computer science from Harvard University and an M.S. in engineering from Stanford University.
Mr. Scot B. Jarvis, Oak Investment Partners
Scot B. Jarvis serves on the board of directors at NextG Networks. He is currently with Oak Investment Partners where he serves as venture partner focused on investments in the wireless communications market. Prior to joining Oak, he was founder of Cedar Grove Investments, a private equity firm with a focus on wireless communications. Mr. Jarvis also founded and served as the first president of Nextlink Communications, served as a regional president of Nextel, and served as a senior executive with McCaw Cellular (now AT&T Wireless). As vice president and general manager of CellularOne’s California region, Mr. Jarvis grew cellular revenues 150 percent to more than $100 million. He has served or currently serves on boards of public and private companies including Excel, Nextel, Nextlink, NextWeb, Slingshot, Visto, Wavelink and Wireless Facilities. Mr. Jarvisis a graduate of the University of Washington.
Josh Revitz, Bay Harbour Management, L.C.
Josh Revitz is a vice president of Bay Harbour Management, LC which he joined in July of 2001. During his tenure at Bay Harbour, Mr. Revitz has played an active role in a number of restructurings within the wireless and wireline telecom industries. Prior to joining Bay Harbour, Mr. Revitz was an investment banker at Bear, Stearns & Co. Inc. operating within their real estate, gaming, lodging and leisure group working on a variety of transactions involving the underwriting and issuance of leveraged loans, high yield bonds and asset-backed securities, in addition to advising on mergers and acquisitions, leveraged buyouts and bankruptcy restructurings. In addition to serving on the board of directors of NextG Networks, Mr. Revitz currently serves on the board of directors of Hardwood Lumber Manufacturing, Inc. and on the board of managers of Lucky Palace, LLC. Mr. Revitz graduated Magna Cum Laude from Tufts University, earning a B.A. in economics.
David B. Walrod
David Walrod has been involved with investing in emerging technology companies since 1995. Until mid-2007, David was a general partner with Oak Investment Partners with a primary focus on wireline and wireless communications, semiconductors, as well as Internet services and infrastructure. Before joining Oak, Mr. Walrod was at McKinsey & Company. He is currently on the board of directors of NextG Networks and Lumasense Technologies and is serving as an advisor for SmartDrive and NR2B Research. Mr. Walrod received his B.A. in physics from the University of California at Berkeley and earned a Ph.D. in solid state physics at the Massachusetts Institute of Technology. He also worked as a postdoctoral fellow at the MIT Research Lab of Electronics and completed a J.D. at the Harvard Law School.
Doug Teitelbaum, Co-owner and Managing Partner, Bay Harbour Management, L.C.
Doug Teitelbaum is co-owner and a managing partner of Bay Harbour Management, LC. Mr. Teitelbaum served on NextG's Board of Directors for four years and continues to be actively involved. Bay Harbour is an SEC registered investment advisor providing investment management services to various domestic and offshore institutional and private investors. Bay Harbour invests in mispriced securities and seeks capital appreciation, value creation and, in some cases, current income through the management of a diversified portfolio of event-driven distressed, private equity and special situation investments. Specifically, within the telecommunications sector, Doug Teitelbaum and Bay Harbour have had active investment roles in companies such as TelCove, Inc. (formerly Adelphia Business Solutions), NextWave Communications, Motient Corporation, MSV Investors, and NEON Communications, among others. Aside from his various business interests, Doug Teitelbaum is an active fund raiser and supporter of medical research foundations and community advancement organizations, and in 2004 raised over $1.4 million net for the Ovarian Cancer Research Fund to establish a grant in his wife's mother's name.
Peter N. Wainman, Managing Director, Patagonia Capital, L.C.
Peter Wainman brings extensive principal investing and financial advisory expertise in the domestic and international markets. He currently is based in Bangkok, Thailand and executes transactions primarily in the communications, housing, real estate, and energy industries. Mr. Wainman previously started and ran the New York office of Gores Technology Group ("GTG"), a private investment firm focused primarily on control-oriented buyout investments in the technology and telecommunications sectors. Prior to joining GTG, Mr. Wainman was a managing director of Bay Harbour Management, LC, a US$1 billion hedge fund focused on distressed and special situations. Mr. Wainman worked on Bay Harbour's private equity/control investments including lead equity financing of NextG Networks, Inc. Prior to joining Bay Harbour Mr. Wainman was an investment banker at Donaldson, Lufkin & Jenrette Securities Corporation ("DLJ") where he was involved in a broad range of domestic and international offerings, including companies in Indonesia, Malaysia and Hong Kong. He was integrally involved in DLJ's lead-managed initial public offering of the first Russian company to be listed on the New York Stock Exchange. Mr. Wainman earned am M.S.in electrical engineering from the University of California at Berkeley and a B.S.E.E. from the Massachusetts Institute of Technology.
